Weve been sporting our flat Bass penny loafers (with the penny inserted of course!) for several seasons now and we have yet to tire of them. In fact, we love them so much weve decided to look for a high heel version of the loafer as seen on the Fall/Winter 2011 runways at Alexander Wang, Celine and YSL. What originally started as a trend at Prada last fall, the high heel loafer (or the high heel moccasin as they call them in the UK) has made a name for itself as this seasons shoe of choice.

A sweet pair of mid-calf, lace-up boots have become a staple in footwear. No matter how much Id love to wear combat-type boots every day of my life, its just not fashionably possible. Thankfully, Dr. Martens has provided a more feminine, yet equally stylish alternative for the more conservative ladies (and those of us who want to give our ass kickin boots a rest).
The British brand is held in high regard when it comes to its chunky, gum sole shoes. Retailers from Macys to Urban Outfitters carry the brand, evidence that ladies from all walks of life are kicking up dust in their Docs.
