Market Publique Lookbook Gives Vintage Fashion a Modern Spin
I’ve been raving over swap, borrow, buy sites like I-Ella and ReFashioner recently, but when it comes to vintage fashion, Market Publique is leading the pack.

Founded by Pamela Castillo, Market Publique brings together a community of buyers and sellers to champion vintage fashion. When it comes to shopping online, photographs mean everything and they do it better than well; their look books breath life–and style–into older clothing, giving them a modern spin.
When Pamela asked me to represent my style site, Past Fashion Future, and model and co-style a look book I jumped, literally, at the chance to rummage through their collection and don some amazing vintage frocks and accessories.
The full lookbook hasn’t been released yet but Market Publique has let a few images slip on their blog. The dress, above, made me feel like Grace Kelly and would be ideal for a garden party or prom, as Pamela says; find it here.
