Ecco Domani Names Tara St. James Eco-Fashion Award Winner
Following in the lightly-treading footsteps of Bodkin designer Eviana Hartman, Lika Volkova of SANS, and John Patrick of Organic, Study NY designer Tara St. James has won the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award (EDFF) for Sustainable Design, Racked reports.
James is among the seven New York-based designers who will receive the $25,000 grant towards production of their runway show at New York Fashion Week in February–for more on that, keep tuned!
Tara St. James, From the Archives Less than two years ago, designer Tara St. James was rallying for support on Kickstarter to show at New York Fashion Week. She posted this adorable video, which we featured on TreeHugger; it is a sneak peak at her sustainable design project and design ethos.
