Cartier’s Ãvasions Innovations

Cartier’s latest Évasions Joaillières Collection puts an Art Deco twist on the brand’s classic looks. The collection transcends Cartier’s classic, restrained boundaries and uses pink gold, pink opals, onyx, pink sapphires, black sapphires, and diamonds to great effect—all in untraditional, yet very symmetrical, shape and design. The designs are modern enough for black-tie evenings, but the splash of pink is fun enough for everyday wear—and they’re all such a pleasant surprise from the jeweler, so unlike previous Cartier offerings. Yet despite the novelty of the collection, the necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets of Évasions Joaillières still embody the subtle luxury and neatly crafted aesthetic that Cartier stands for: the same elegance and timelessness that’s allowed the Art Deco movement itself to endure so long.
