NALLY & MILLIE
Thanks to the wonderful people at NALLY & MILLIE, I was recently able try out their best seller for you all (photos of the shirt in real life to come at the bottom of the post).
NALLY & MILLIE is run by a husband/wife duo (Nally and James Park) and is based out of Los Angeles. What I found most exciting is that the line is entirely produced in the U.S.A., using the softest natural fabrics and most technically advanced synthetics and blends for consistent quality, durability, memory and a flawlessly supple hand.
Im not sure what a flawlessly supple hand is, but I can tell you that this is one soft top, which works nicely with the extensive draping. Much to my surprise, this top is a one-size-fits all deal. If I could change anything about this top, I would make it come in a variety of sizes for those who dont like draping up the wazoo. Im generally a medium in tops and I was a bit overwhelmed by all the fabric at first, so be prepared for the extensive fabric to all you skinny-minnies out there. I did appreciate that the outer shell (the top comes with an outer shell and a tank top to wear underneath) was a bit sheer as it allows people to see your real shape underneath. If you cant tell by now, Im used to wearing fitted tops rather than drape-y frocks.
To give you a gist of the size, below are three images. 1) the shirt width in relation to my double bed 2) the shirt on a hanger and 3) the shirt width in relation to the tank top/my actual size.
Once I adjusted to seeing myself in a style Im not used to, I was feeling this top. I tried out a few looks, and have decided this shirt is best work with my jeggings/skinny jeans or under a fitted jacket. The jeggings/skinny jeans help balance out the look and the fitted jacket help define your shape. I did try the shirt with a jean trouser, but it made me feel a little wide all over. Glance below to see how the shirt looks on.
NALLY & MILLIE products are available in over a thousand boutiques and department stores including Nordstrom and Bloomingdales.
Have any of you ever purchased a NALLY & MILLIE shirt before? Are you feeling this top?
